Bill, W0PT,

An intermen solution might be to use a large Dow Key type relay, like 
a DK-60.  They have almost penny sized contacts, and will easily 
carry your power.  An additional smaller relay, in the receive side, 
probably should be added for isolation.  Their 28VDC and 115VAC coils 
are identical and can be used on either voltage.  They can come with 
either UHF or N connectors, that are interchangeable.  They are often 
now found in older HF'rs junk boxes.
