[Moon] 432 Hello Moon Event at 8J1AXA

35 Elementary school children, parents, and teachers meets 
at Katsuura Space Communication Center, JAXA.  

Before their visit, JO1LDY Kuroki made a previous lecture on 
EME at their school in Shibuya, Tokyo, a few days back.  

At the moon elevation of 12 deg. , 8J1AXA contacted with K1RQG, 
CW 559/579.  Then K2UYH followed 559/559.  SRI but WA6PY did 
not come up? but thanks for trying, Paul.    

Children got stacked around the operation desk, being a big pile-up.  Great thanks to Joe and Al!! 

Children climbed up to the pedestal of the 18m dish antenna,  
taking photos.  

JH1KRC Mike made a EME simulation using a bubber Moon, 
on which the latest moon map drawned by KAGUYA, that 
is covered by alminum foil, illuminated by two razar pointers. 
It makes marvellous glistening, and another pile-up occured again.
JH2COZ Yasu performed an informative lecture on EME, using 
many photos and sounds in the slide-show. 

Both EME guys who lectured got their first amateur license at 
the age of 5th grade of elementary school.  

Before they leave the EME site, children are enjoying good 
pile-ups on 40m SSB.
