[Moon] SPID rotator question

Hi all,

I have got a brand new SPID BIG RAS AZ/EL rotator here
on the work bench and just tested it before putting it on the tower.
The rotator works O.K. but the AZ and EL display shows always
exactly the double value, e.g.
for 45 deg EL it shows 90 on the display and
for 20 deg AZ it shows 40 on the display etc.
I can not find any hints for troubleshooting in the manual
and the dealer/manufacturer will probably answer not during the weekend.

Anyone there who made the same experience may be and knows the solution?
