Greetings from HK land, here on qrl for 1.5 month , sri no radio only  
work and enjoying the beauties of this unique country:-)

The weekend of May 10/11 I had the most amazing Contest experience  
working on 23cm cw section of the European EME Contest (DUBUS & REF).
This was the 1st time I participated in a Contest on 1296MHz, where  
RADIO really is King! No BS internet logger party!
Lot's of activity on the 1st day, only random operation, big pileups,  
3 expeditions active in a contest weekend, this Contest had it all!
Highlight was working the 3 expeditions also during the contest,  
namely DL1YMK/CX, EV5M, HB0/DF1SR. A big Congrats to their outstanding  
effort!

SV1BTR 23cm section result: 68 stations, all QSOs on random with the

I end up 2008 European EME Contest with a total of 168 stations in  
total and 173 QSOs on 2m-70cm-23cm, cw random. Given this chance I  
would like to thank DUBUS for its outstanding effort to organize the   
- BEST & ONLY  - RADIO EME Competition worldwide for one more year!

Special thanks goes to HB9BBD for his LNA and to LZ2US for his  
continuous help, Marko and Dominique were the key drivers for me to  
enjoy the competition so much! I used my 3.6m dish, in 2009 will  
upgrade to a bigger one.

The absolute majority of stations worked were new initials to me, and  
in all QSOs but 2, exchanged 2 way signal reports.
I bring this up because some keen jt65 DS advocates & false propaganda  
experts deliberately make stupid analogies for years that cw ops use  
Deep Search techniques.... with unknown info???....who do they believe  
buys this crap?
