[Moon] [Moon-net] Invitation to 13th. EME Conference

hello EME gang

My first EME conference was in Gothenburg Sweden and from then onwards I attended all EME conferences each second year.

It is the truth to state that the doors of all these conferences have been open to all interested in EME. Participants have always been very welcome, not only the higher band guys.

It is also fact that the 2m EME community, which is by number by far the most sizable, had their own conferences here and there which I fully understand.

Now, for practical reasons, the topics in the 432 & up conferences are somewhat focused on these bands as the particular monthly newsletter is. No matter whether you are currently a 2m EME'er or not even an EME'er yet, you are invited to Florence as you had been invited in the previous conferences. The question is whether you are interested in the topics on the agenda and/or the exchange of thoughts with the participants.

 

So please do not make a religious issue about a very practical focus on particular technical topics. Just join us in Florence if you desire to be among us and to join us in topics which might be so far out of your current activities. Welcome!

Since I am a new-comer to EME, and Wuerzburg was the first 
EME Conference I attended, I don't fully understand the the 
tradition of the conferece.  

Last time I presented low band EME, the 15m EME receiving.  
Perhaps it was the first report in the world (at least among 
amateurs).   So it was not in accordance to the tradition that 
I did not know.... Shame!  

In this year here we will have a National EME Conference in Tokyo area.  It includes ALL JA EME'ers get together, even if the number is only some 50's EME'ers.    
We think (and no one doubt here in JA perhaps),  that  it is EME 
that is EME.   It is our tradition here.   Perhaps it will continue to  
be the same.  

Some on JA EME'ers now thinking about visiting the next 
Conference in Florence. 
So please let me know the TRADITION of the EME Conference for 
my knowledge if there is any concrete one.   I think I have to 
write it on EME column in the CQ ham radio magazine of JA, 
and whether it is an exclusive one or not.
