[Moon] EME conference Florence

Dear organizers, 
   
  I do have highly respect and congratulate you for your effort to organize such a meeting. 
  The ones who did this before probably know how many hours and energy you have to spend 
  to get such a conference running successfully.
   
  I am afraid due to too many duties this year I will not be able to join the meeting. And, I really 
  have to say I am jealous to those who will be able to go!
   
  Florence and the area (i.e. Chianti, Siena, Lucca, Pisa etc) is so beautiful, food and wines are just fantastic, excellent sightseeing and shopping possibilities (perfect for the YLs, OM take care about your $$$!!!- hi). And, of course, the great hospitality of the Italians is known world-wide. 
   
  I am sure the participants will have a great time, unindependent of the topics of the conference.

  P.S.: my last visits in Florence were in 2006/2007. And I was able to join the big party at Piazza del Michelangelo when Italy became soccer world champion in 2006...unforgetable!
