Gentlemen .. I posted this back on 27Dec but it did not appear on 
this reflector... take two!

VK3UM EME Calculator  (EMECalc.exe) Version 5:00 (Build 2008.5.0.14)
This latest update provides a significant improvement in the 
calculation accuracy of Sun Noise.

With the assistance of IPS Australia and John (VK5DJ), the current 
flux data is now down loaded directly into the program and the interpolated
and extrapolated values calculated (commensurate with IPS), for all 
frequencies provided within the program. The actual figures are now derived
directly from actual measurements. Previously 'fudge factors' were 
used, and although accurate for a narrow range of sfu's, this latest version
complies with the daily IPS data and method of calculation and 
consequently will follow all values of sfu.

The program also includes a sfu history file that covers flux values 
from 65 - 220 sfu in 5 sfu steps. This may be used to re-view any 
previous measurements
with higher degree accuracy. The IPS data also provides indications 
of actual data quality. This is used to provide warnings when 
accuracy may be compromised
on a specific or a range of frequencies. An addition a memo option 
has also been added to record your measurements for future reference.

More information may be obtained from the integrated Help file which 
has been updated to include this latest facility as well as other 
user suggested refinements.

This software and will now default to install to a VK3UM sub 
directory and includes Uninstall.
Similarly my other software, EME Planner 2008,  EMR Calculator, 
Impedance Calculator and the Inter Digital Filter software has been 
updated and all is available from:
