[Moon] M67746 power module

Hello , 

 

Recently i found an advertise of someone selling M67746 VHF (144-148MHz)
power modules . 

A couple of weeks ago the final stage from my LT2S got broken . so I was
looking around for something else to replace it . 

 

Because the M67746 are being sold at a very reasonable price I tought it was
worth to use such a module as they are easy to integrate .

My only concern is that those modules are designed for FM mode (class C)
operation . 

Would it be worth trying operating a class C amp. for SSB/CW useage ? Or is
it not possible to have a clean output with that kind of amp ? 

 

Any suggestion is very welcome or other recommendations to get about 50-60W
steady and clean output ?
