I am very saddened to hear of Charlie's passing.  W7GBI was one of my  
very first 23cm EME QSO's back when my setup was so small that very  
few other stations could hear me.  But Charlie could, and we worked  
many times over the years.  I got the chance to meet him in person at  
an early Microwave Update (Dallas, if I recall correctly) and after  
that we seemed to bump into each other frequently- it was always great  
to say hello to him- a real gentleman and always a great signal off  
the moon!
RIP my friend.
