Lars,
Good morning....
>How should we handle this topic? Digital vs Analog.
We did already....
like this....... http://www.arrl.org/contests/rules/2007/eme.html
>As I see it there is only one solution, separate contests,
what you mean like this ?
http://www.arrl.org/contests/rules/2007/eme.html
Quote..........well not quite a quote I highlighted with "^^" for those
with reading difficulties........
5.3 Operating Categories. Assisted operation, as defined in Section 3.5, is

* ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
* 5.3.2 Single Operator, Digital Mode
* ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
* 5.3.3 Single Operator, Mixed Mode
* 5.3.4 Single Operator, Mixed Mode, Assisted. This category is
intended to encourage smaller stations and operators who may be new to EME.
It applies only to single-band operation on 144, 432, or 1296 MHz.
* 5.3.5 Multi Operator, Analog Mode
* ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
* 5.3.6 Multi Operator, Digital Mode

Un-Quote........
hmmmmmm, your problem is ???????????
>separate rules in aspect of DXCC.
this is still on-going...shouting and name calling are not helping the
processes
>If we get those changes
you got them, did you read them ?, in case not here it is
http://www.arrl.org/contests/rules/2007/eme.html
(btw , you contributed nothing except abuse to the proceesses as they took
place, so consequently your voice was not heard/ignored )
>it dosent matter in" my eyes" if someone operates assisted or not, as long
>as the diploma tells the category.
what you mean like this
http://www.arrl.org/contests/rules/2007/eme.html
Quote.......... well not just quote I highlighted the relevant
........"diploma tells the story".......... parts with "^^"

Un-Quote........
hmmmmmmm, your problem is ??
(beyond 9.1.5 which unfortunately is poorly worded and although the
sentiment of attracting newcomers was good, the reality of entries in that
category is likely to be 'abuse')
If the above two sections are not enough seperation for you then please
take the time to re-write them , point by point and post your draft here so
that we in the community can all review what it is you really want...... ?
You might find it helpful if you can try to EXCLUDE your favorite words and
sentiments expressed to date which can be summarised in the short sentance
of " digital is shit " in your paper.
Out of interest the 2007 ARRL rules contain the word 'seperate' 8 times
in the context you are interested in. If that is not enough then please do
your best to improve it.
I look forward to seeing your proposals..........
