Very sad news from you Jimmy.
I remember Ulf as a very active 2m eme station, during the 90's, as you said.I worked him many and many times.He was always
available for tests and technical discussions.
He was really a very good friend and an enthusiatic emer too. My condolences to his family.

In the Swedish society magazine QTC, I could today read that another wellknown SM-EME ham is SK.
I have no further information, but if it's true, I will send this info, and also condolences to his family.
