Forwarded for information...pretty good success for a 3m dish and 10W of CW.
If the RW3BP CW program program were used we could expect a 10dB reduction
in the power required

Subject: 24 GHz EME in April 2008

Hello to all,

Today I succeeded in my first 24 ghz eme qso's with first qso with LX1DB
with a very strong signal. In total I made 4 qso's with LX1DB, DF1OI, DK7LJ
and VE4MA.
OK1KIR copied my signal as well but he was not able to transmit.
Hope I will have the chance to test W5LUA and OK1KIR later this week,
depending on weather. Weather forecast for taday was real bad but we had all
day long sun and no rain.

My station, 3 mtr Andrew dish, 1.25 dB nf pre amp by DB6NT and 10 Watt into
feed from a Hughes TWT.
Further info will come on my website.
