Tonight I successfully completed the modification to the Spectrain amplifier
and got a good echo test off the moon tonight.
Thanks to Tony WA8RJF and Kermit W9XA for the quick response to my request
to get the
Spectrain amplifier going.
As a result, I will be QRV this weekend for the EME Microwave Sector of the
contest. I will also be listening to the
2320 band as well during the contest. I will try to get the 2424 Rx band
going this weekend. This is a new EME Band for
me so will have to try to understand the frequency plan a little better.
Now that I am back from a near full year business trip I can also
concentrate of returning many QSL cards to
those who sent me one. If your not sure that your card got here, check the
logbook on my webpage.
Hope to work many of you this weekend.
