Hello Jeff,

sorry, I cannot help you with these problems, but neihter, might I carefully remember you to receive on 2320MHz, too? Yes, there are some stations which must not transmit on 2304MHz.

I am receiving on 2304 by simply tuning the IF radio down to 128MHz, so you might do so by tuning your reveiver to 160MHz.

BTW, I am duing this conventiently with the FT847 when CQing
- Use split operation
- TX on secondary, 2320->144 on primary VFO, so I can hear my echos.
- 128MHz is stored to the quick channel (right bottom keyes). Simply store 128.1 there using STO key, and press RCL button anytime you want to receive there.
- press RCL button once more to return to main VFO (144MHz)
- press STO button when you want to remember the 2304MHz IF frequency.

So after a CQ, I just look on the waterfall on 144MHz, and if no signal appears, I press RCL button and look on the waterfall in order to see if somebody is calling on 2304MHz. Simple and fast.
But unfortunaly not very much QSOs....

73, Günter

Betreff: [Moon] Need modify plans for Spectrian 2.3 GHz Amp / prepare for2.3 EME Contest

Hello All,

I am preparing to get on 2.3 GHz EME for the first time for the EME Contest in afew weeks from now however I lost the plans

on how to modify the 200 W Spectrian SSPA from pyrojoe. If anyone has a copy of these plans or any other suggestions,

please email me.

Right now, new lightweight 3 meter dish with full 0 -90 degree elevation ( was restricted to minimum of 30 degrees with

old dish), 2304 feed and preamp are mounted. Measured @ 10 dB of sun noise this weekend so RX side looks like

ready to go !
