Hello EME enthusiasts

SV1BTR was qrv in ARI EME Contest 2007, cw section on 2m. Had great fun, despite serious antenna pointing elevation problems which made me work with a gradual error of 12 d. on Saturday and 18d. on Sunday. Therefore, i was tracking the moon with echoes, especially in each moonset window. Echoes are good but being always quite loud one is not sure exactly where to point, thus he loses smaller stations from problematic cooperation of encoders with linear actuator which deteriorates pointing gradually through each moon pass. Despite reference check at beginning of each pass. In the next months current encoders, will be changed and 2 new check points will be used on 2m-70cm-23cm. New type of encoders as well as clinometers. Those events have delayed my arrival on 23cm also, even though RF part of the system is ready, as well as tower / dish / feed. 
Throughout the Contest I was qrv 7 hrs less, in total.

Out of the stations worked, 90% was from Europe, 5% from JA, and 5% from US. To me, the most important aspect of this year's Contest was good activity of mixed stations especially on the 1st day, therefore it has been great fun to see some old friends again. Thank you all, is really good to hear you folks!

Thanks to all that called me. I must admit it is always very rewarding to do personal weak signal work by fully copying the EME callsigns (together with the few having their own operating style and own? cw tone:-)); and even the ones i could not have completed due to partial copy = mere identification which is not enough in cw work! Of course this is often really tough with vy weak signals and especially when qrm/qrn comes into play and fatigue of the operator listening into the noise for hrs.

In total worked 55 stations, including 3 new initials and qrp/single yagi stations also. All QSOs were on random, no loggers and skeds used.
