that condx were rather poor and I had 2 responses
on my CQ: from Claude F3VS and Marko LZ2US, but I had already worked =
them in the 1st pass, so both qsoos were=20
NC. Especially Saturday morning I was astonished hearing LA8YB calling =
CQ for long time in CW with booming sigs,
but no one returned, so either condx were poor to rest of the world or =
activity was very low.
Conclusion on both legs, is that I am very happy to have worked 32 CW =
stations and being called in jt65b by some new
initials for me and that my station needs some improvements.
I still have my LNA (PA3BIY) in the shack, thus adding 0.8 dB extra to =
my NF which has to be brought in top and for
CW especially, I think that with 4 x 2.4 w/l I am just on the edge and =
some few dB extra antenna gain would be very
welcome. Also I do have some qrm during ' neighbourhood awake hours' and =
especially in 3rd pass I had lots of pulses,
making reception with the dsp of Spectran rather difficult.
But I have had a great time this contest and also enjoyed the SSB =
signals from Sam in qso with Arno PE1RDP.
Especially in CW I make a lot of recordings, so if you want to hear your =
own signal received at my side, there is
a good possibility I have one.
