Will be on starting in about one hour on my moonrise primarily 144 and
1296. I did not have anytime to
get anything up for 432. Outstanding conditions last night on 1296 with
K9SLQ on 1296 at 599 all night long.
IK3MAC was 579 on 144. Concentrating mostly random CW on both bands. Found
very little activity on 144 CW
last night ( only three to four stations ) but @ 0700 UTC , so spent most
time on 1296. Huge disadvantage here
since I miss about three hours of EU moon window compared to east coast.
Finding a huge decrease in activity on 144 and 1296 after EU moon window
disappears so I assume most U.S. operators
are going to sleep rather than enduring the contest throughout the night (
have to admit it isn't easy staying up all
night! ). Not sure if I will stay up myself tonight depending on activity
this time.
