Hi Adrian,

As I wrote once before on this reflector:

"Formal answers to your questions must come from someone at 
ARRL.  You could try writing to the new contest branch 
manager [Sean Kutzko, KX9X] at contests at arrl.org."

I have no doubt about the correct answer to your question, 
however.  For Mixed Mode entries, QSOs with the same station 
on the same band may be counted once for an Analog QSO and 
once for a Digital QSO.  New multipliers count only once per 
band, however.
