Hi all,
yesterday morning I added
IQ4DF, P43L, NA4N, K5JL, SP7DCS, PA3FXB and VE3KRP
I then exchanged my preamp against a G4DDK 0.3dB NF
so, yesterday afternoon I catched
SM5LE, HB9BBD, HB9SV, KL6M, LA2Z, G3LQR, G4RGK, JA4LJB, ON5RR, JA6CZD, SP6JLW
and this morning
K2DH, UA3DJG, W6BY, LA5ZK, I5MPK, SM2CEW
and in the afternoon (strange, did the french just awake??? :-) )
F5FEN, F5JWF, F6CGJ
A stations like i4lcy or ik5wjd or so called in, latest 2110ut, but he did not send his callsign often enough. Signal was good, but keep in mind that me and reading CW in the noise are two different worlds...
Thanks a lot for the fun of this contest, worked >80 stations and that is really fine. New G4DDK preamp did a phantastic job, landmark is SM5LE, before I had to guess in the noise, afterwards I several times heard him clearly in different situations. Remembering my cry "Give me something that is worth to be called 'receiver'", I now for the first time have a real satisfiyng RX performance.
N9JIM published a nice video about the QSO with me in YouTube:

Thanks, Jim!
4.5m f/D=0.32 deep dish, round septum polarizer feed with 3 section chapperal ring
0.3dB NF preamp by G4DDK, TH347, abt. 500W at the feed.
FT847 with Winrad waterfall +/- 6kHz
As soon as Weather permits, I will now change to 13cm, in order to listen for the moon probe and also to test my 2424MHz mixer.
I am preparing 9cm, expecting to be QRV next year in spring.
73, Günter (dl4mea)
