[Moon] K2DH 2nd Weekend 1st Pass Results

Well, after a VERY frustrating day trying to get some kind of transmit power
(and not being successful), I had actually decided not to get on.  But, I'm
not a quitter, so after a cocktail and some dinner, I went back at it and
managed to get the single 7289 N6CA amp working again.

My single 7289 is making about 180W (as much as it ever did), but I must
say, my echoes were as good as they've ever been at that power level-
perigee certainly helped.  I have absolutely no idea why the thing stopped
making power- I spent the entire day trying everything I could think of,
including changing tubes, cleaning the cavity, etc (I put the old tube back
in and it's just fine).  I guess I must have just had all the tuners in the
wrong combination, because I finally put the thing on the Network Analyzer,
tuned it up there, and proceeded to put it back online and it came right up!

I was back on 23cm by about 0500Z and managed to work 13 stations including
8 intials.  I worked: OK1KIR, AL7RT#, WW2R, DK7LJ# on SSB (58/44), G4CCH
(dupe), K7XQ#, P43L#, K1JT, N2UO#, VA7MM#, JR4ZZS#, K5SO, and JA8ERE#.

I'll be back on tonight for the final pass, starting around 2300Z, and I
hope to catch all of you whom I've missed so far- please listen for my
peanut whistle!
