[Moon] DF9CY Updated Antenna Material and more

Hi all

I have not been very active throughout the last time. In fact it took me to
the hospital several times. But now I hope things are going better and
recently I raised my new aluminium tower which can carry a little more than
the old one I had for 7 years. Space in my garden is limited which allows to
put up one tower only. I plan to be back on 2m in spring time and eventually
on 70cm too (at least on tropo and for the large stations). Until then I have
monoband antenna for 40m running, which is really doing fine.

All the antennas I have built and/or modified recently I simulated with EZNEC
and NEC2 and I have put the results on my site (http://www.df9cy.de)
under "Technical Articles".

Most interesting has been the experience with a commercial built 10 ele 2wl
antenna for 432 MHz. Here for the first time in my "simulating career" the
results from simulations do not fit to those measured results. It is not easy
to find an appropriate model. And here I ask the experts among this community
here for some support. In the article about the antenna I put images,
simulation results as well as the NEC2 description. If you like, have a look
there. With any ideas and comments, send a mail please.

So have fun with our hobby. Always strong signal from the moon ...
