[Moon] SWR tuning-yagi with rope extention

Thanks so much for suggestions about this. I just finished
building/preliminary testing of an 11-element rope extention for the
15-element K1FO two-meter yagi on my rover. Hopefully this will help
provide a few more EME contacts.
I did expect the SWR to change with the extention added on. Without the
extention, the antenna measures 1.45:1 at 144.190; with the extention,
the SWR measures 1.25:1 at 144.190. (I moved just far enough away from
the terrestrial call frequency-the antenna is also used for terrestrial
contacts-to avoid causing QRM while testing.)
Should I just leave everything alone-"if it ain't broke, don't fix it,"
or should I try to adjust the sliders on the T match to find a happy
medium between extended and non-extended modes? If so, would the
sliders be moved further out towards the ends of the driven element, or
further in towards the center?
Thanks for your advice!
73,
Martin, KC3RE
