[Moon] TF/DL1YMK update 14.05.

Hi gang,
 
today we had big success, on the other side it was a bit disappointing. We  
tried 13cm 2day for the first time outside sked slots to test the equipment and 
 made 2 QSO's with F2TU and LX1DB with surprisingly strong signals With F2TU  
we made SSB - tnx Philippe for the test run. It was the first time that all 
13cm  components have played together, as preamp, pa, transverter, etc. til now 
 only had been tuned separately. So we have good chances for the long sked 
list  on 17th, if WX is on our side...but this is anything but sure. On 70cm we 
worked  DL7APV, LX1DB, K2UYH, but failed with SM3AKW, EA3DXU, OK1KIR and KL6M, 
who heard  us, but this was only oneway.
WX 2day was absolutely calm against the forecast, but 2morrow winds are  
supposed to increase again. We will be on 23 cm 2morrow beginning 0730UT for all  
skeds. Whoever wants a QSO with us on 23, please try rnd, as from today's  
perspective we most likely will have an outtime during the contest because of  
forecasted storm (but maybe this is as false as it had been today...)
If anyone would like to try again on 70cm, we should do it as a 'package'  
with a big gun first, because on 70 we don't hear our echoes and hence need a  
pathfinder to optimise ant heading.
 
we keep on struggling hard, as long as the dish survives...
