[Moon] SWL report, TF/DL1YMK...

Hi all,

Sorry to say, this is just another SWL report from SM3BYA!

I got on at about 0500 UT today and kept checking 432.035 and .045
alternately at two-three minute intervals. My own echoes were nonexistent to
begin with and remained so for several hours. Heard Doug, VK3UM calling
Michael on .045 for a long time, apparently until his moonset, but no
Michael there and no QSO.

Immediately afterwards, DL7APV called TF/DL1 on .035 - and now Michael came
on and they eventually completed with one another. Michael's sigs were
weaker today, only about M/O copy and hard to read. Once they had finished,
I started calling Michael, but no response.

At 07UT copied both sides of the EADXU-TF/DL1 sked. They made it in spite of
"M" copy - impressive, considering how small Josep's array is! Afterwards I
tried calling Michael, but again NR.

Looking at the list of stations worked by Michael and Monica on 432 so far,
I find myself being about 2 - 3 dB down on the TX side relative to almost
everybody. Guess those extra dBs were actually required to get noticed...
Nevertheless, an interesting experience - made mr feel a little like a
signals analyst monitoring clandestine traffic....
