[Moon] FT-990 250Hz cw flter

Hi All,

I wonder if it would be worth the effort to try finding a 250Hz cw filter for my 
FT-990, that i use as 70cms if rx ?
I have only the 500Hz installed, and this 250Hz filter (XF-455K-251-01) is 
discontinued now.
How should be the real world benefits on 250Hz RX ?
Any source for that filter somewhere ?
Any way to modify the existing 500Hz filter ?
