Dear OM,
 
unexpected I got a licence for a 2m EME activity in Pakistan (QTH:
Karachi, grid: easy to find via google earth!). However, the licence is
only valid for 1 day. The issued callsign is AP1RIL and will be on the
air from April 1st 00.01 utc until 23.59 utc.

Especially for this activity a new digital protocol was created (AP1).

I can assure you that AP1 complies fully with the actual QSO-rules and
ALL info goes via the radio path (approved by Indian students
really
neccessary at all and I dont bring my baby AP1 in miscredit.

If I dont fall asleep (please chat as much as possible with me!!!) by
steering at the monitor all the time then I hope to have enough energy
to try some random meteorscatter outside my moontimes towards direction
Nepal (9N), Bhutan (A5) and India (VU). I do also hope to work the Mount
Everest Exped
for a new SOTA!

The QSL goes via qrz.com (same like every year!). Please dont forget to
enclose enough greenstamps as the costs are unexpected high (licence
costs are 50.000 USD!).
If DXCC responsibles will NOT catch me chatting during QSOs then the
activity is expected to be good for DXCC and other diplomas.

My RIG will be Big Dish (many tnx to Radio Pakistan International!) and
about 1KW.
QRG: 144.200 MHz ,  AP1RIL always first !
