Hi all

Thank you Lee.

Just one general comment from my side, having worked ALL my QSOs in cw
random:
In the write-up of ARRL 2006 EME Competition results i read:
'' Logging the mode of operation (digital, CW or phone) was not a
requirement; however, the majoritry of the contestants submitted this
information for 96
percent of the total reported contacts.''
I say this is good.

But the outcome I see in the presentation of results is that:
In 2005 score results, QSOs were listed by MODE as well as total.
In 2006 results ONLY the overall number of QSOs appears. NO breakdown of
QSOs by mode. Despite the fact that 96% of the total reported the mode used!

I wonder how much more every year the once ''top WW EME Contest'' by ARRL
will continue to degrade as far as achievement and recognition of effort is
concerned in its rules and scores listings...
(also by not displaying number of QSOs by mode per station - pity because
the writeup is always good)

I guess these are the modern days we are living in, where, what we see must
''look, count, and be treated equal'' at all costs ???
Moreover, info on mode vs number of QSOs is always useful for those working
mixed,
to improve their score in the future, by drawing conclusions and aligning
their operating habits accordingly.
