Jimmy, don't you EVER agree with anyone? CW is as old as it gets in EME
work, there is no older mode in existence.

If you mean that CW is not obsolete, then by all means you are correct about
that and we all hope to continue using it for many years to come.

But, considering other modes now in use, it IS old (as been in use a long
time) style EME today.

Hi Hakan

CW in my view is certainly NOT old style EME.
Because it is the mode that provides to any interested operator the
TOOLS of better RF knowledge, reception of valuable technical help
from the community that uses it, and advancement of skills.

These result in a station that hears, and can be heard, better.

So if someone is looking for the TOOLS leading to constant improvement
of his station RF path and own operating abilities, this is definetely
a mode one should have in his EME agenda.
As it is all time classic and will never become obsolete for those
interested parties who consider the matters of constantly - hearing
better and be heard - as highly important.

Jimmy SV1BTR
