Hi Jonathan.
  
Linrad works well with Ubuntu (6.06 ,7.01 and 7.04)  
After the installation of the s.o. it needs to install the following 
packets:  
                            xorg-dev  
                            build-essential  
                            nasm  
                            
libtool  
	           svga1925  
                           oss 
(optional if you don't want to use the alsa-drivers)  
   
Later Linrad 
or Xlinrad  can be compiled without problems.

Hi has anyone had any experience of installing Linrad on 
Ubuntu 
(feisty
7.01) which is a .deb distro.
Have been playing most of 
the day 
and have failed to crack the install
problem.
