[Moon] A2 / A2T absolute encoders on OE5JFL-tracker

Hi gang,
 
is anybody out there, who has experience in how to connect absolute  encoders 
A2 and A2T (of latest built) correctly to module 3 of the OE5JFL  stand-alone 
controller???
I tried very hard the past few days, but I am pretty frustrated now...I  used 
pull-up and pull-down resistors of 2.2kOhm for Data+ and Data- (as  
recommended by USdigital), but that gives no reading. Using 10kOhm  pull-resistors 
gives a reading with the A2, but very susceptible to spikes on  the mains. The A2T 
does not work neither with 2.2kOhm, nor with 10kOhm; in best  case it 
displays 49.5°, but doesn't change if tilted. 
I need some HELP now.....
