Hi Dave,
in response to your message I would like to inform You, that OK1KIR
will be QRV during the weekend on 3400/3456 MHz and be happy to try
with You.
Unfortunately, we can but not licensed to TX on 3456 MHz. So, we
will RX both bands but TX only on 3400 MHz band.
If you could somehow listen on 3400 MHz, it will be great.
Currently we are linear polarized but rotable polarisation.
On Sat, July 14th at 08:30 UT on 3400.100 MHz we have sked with Brian,
G4NNS and plan to follow the sked with some polarisation tests similar
to what we did the last year. The details need to be finalized with
G4NNS.
As of now, we agreed further skeds for Sun, July 15th as follows:
04:30 UT  3400.050 MHz    VK3NX - OK1KIR   (1st, 2nd, 2.5min. periods)
16:00 UT  3400.125 MHz   W5LUA - OK1KIR
16:30 UT  3400.125 MHz   OK1KIR - WW2R
I hope there will be some others active as well like N9JIM (Jamesburg
30m dish !!), G3LTDF, VE4MA, LX1DB, G3LQR, WA9FWD, G4DDK, DL4MEA (at
least listening) and maybe somebody more...

Hi all-
There's a better than 50/50 chance I'll have my station up and running
on 3456 (NOT 3400 yet) by this weekend.
I'd like to know who's planning on being on for the activity period
that I might be able to work.  I don't think it's wise to make any
skeds at this point, still too much that could go wrong between now
and then.  But if you'll let me know when you'll be around, I'll have
something to shoot for and maybe tail-end.
My station is as follows:
5m solid dish with linear feed (commercial Chapparal-style feed
designed for this dish- illumination should be near optimum)
60W SSPA (tested last night) at the back of the dish- est 50W at the
feed
0.7dB NF LNA (unless I can get something better going before the weekend)
DEMI transverter (old style)
Tracking camera to visually track if the sky is clear
EA4TX tracking interface, F1EHN tracking software regardless of the
sky conditions
I should be able to be linear either H or V, the feed supports this easily
Note:
I have not measured Sun noise yet, I only got the tracking going last
weekend.  I have still to build a WR229 to coax transition to get the
signals in/out of the feed and verify my tracking calibration by
measuring some Sun (and hopefully Moon) noise.
I hope to hear from you and I definitely hope to work some of you this
weekend!  It's been too long since I was on 3456 EME (Spring 1987),
much less EME in general.
