[Moon] HB9BBD report on Dish survival..

Dear all

It is with mercey that I read all the reports on lost and damaged antennas all over Europe. Since I have been away for skiing a while, I came back yesterday and went to my dish site to see what happened. Luckily, the dish is up and no damage could be figured out. The winds have gone up to 125km/hour so I guess there was quite some push and pull at the structure. 

In these conditions hydraulics seem to be less vulnerable to torque than mechanical gears. 

Still I could not make it for the SSB contest.
