Hi everyone.

As a result of the heavy winds in the UK last week it looks like I'm off the
air while I can make repairs.

I have some cracks on FOUR ribs close to the hub mounting points, and whilst
checking that out, I think I burned out the motor of my elevation jack.
Stupid mistake. tried to move the dish, but forgot that my ladder was still
up the tower, and jammed the actuator for several minutes while powered up.

My jack is a Heavy Duty 24 inch Superjack XL HQ, and I've been trying a few
suppliers to get a replacement.. Seems that there are none in the country,
and it may be > 2 weeks before they arrive.

I'm going to try and dismantle the motor to see what's happened. In the
meantime if anyone has any tips or can help me in any way, then please E
Mail me.
