Very good Page Michel!
I have been listening around as shown on Michels page at my silent QTH (living on a farm) and in direction my house noise gets up very much. (I know whats causing it,, )
I have started to think about moving away my 144mhz array to the other concrete where i have first planned to put up my dish and especially after this storm i think it should be good to hide the dish behind the house. Problem is that it will take just a little of my moonrise/set if i move the dish near the house.
Here comes the question! maybe it is also sensitive on 23cm with the noise from the house or even worse?? My guess is that a dish shall not be so sensitive as a yagi as my VE4MA feed only will light on the dish surface but i am completley new to 23cm so no idea,,,. (I have been on 13cm and it is absolutley quiet here)
I am Just now like a cow between two haystacks http://web.telia.com/~u37027643/sida2.htm
As i am after my dish is finished are going to build a bigger 144mhz array it could be good to move.
Decisions decisions,,,,
PS: i am also very sorry to see even more reports of lost EME antennas, looks like this winter will be very very strange.

Dear all,
While cleaning up the shack, I found back a measurement result, I had been looking for, for a long period...
It is about using the "WSJT echo mode" to visualize your antenna ground gain lobes.
Go to here: http://users.skynet.be/on7eh/QTH.htm , chapter 2.
You'll also find a true story ;-)
