[Moon] passing rx signal through 432 amp hybrid combiners-losses?

I hope soon to have two Mirage D-1010 amplifiers combined with hybrid
combiners for 200 watts out from the mobile 432 station. As the
combiner ring would be placed in the circuit between the preamp (RF
switched ARR)
and amps/combiner rings, (cannot put the preamp between amps and
antennas because of high power blowout!) am I correct in thinking that
there would be some kind of losses on receive if the signal from the
antenna had to pass through the combiner rings (relays in amplifiers
swiched on RX to feed through bypassing amps?) If so, would the
correct solution be to install a pair of appropriate relays to bypass
the combimner rings so that on RX the signal went from antenna to
preamp?
Many thanks for your thoughts.
