HNY to everyone,

The purpose of this group is to be active, not to report a lack of activity! I've just been outside to raise the x8 yagis for the 2nd Session and have to report a water ingress problem again. The VSWR is sky high, but a quick test still gave echoes, albeit weakly. The main lobe of the antenna was also too broad, which confirms the problem. IK3MAC was 579 and so I quickly called him and received a 539 report. I could also hear Roy, G3ZIG and LZ2US. 
 
I was not available for the 1st Pass as I've spent a great deal of time in recent days (and nights) on MS, using a 2nd array of x4 yagis. I completed with EW/RA3MR, 1A4A and 4U1ITU for new DXCC's. I hope to have the system repaired and up and running again by February so I can return to my main interest of CW EME. I hope everyone else had a good time.
