Sears in the US has a similar item--both in the long and short versions. The 
longer is $70, the shorter is $50. There was a sale through today for 
"Craftsman Members" and takes $20 off each price. I hadn't yet opened one, 
but Chuck did, and here's his notes below. It seems as if the device for 
sensing are similar, except the Sears one takes 3VDC while the LIDL one uses 
9VDC

I opened one up when I got home and it has the a similar, D62253 vs D2152E,  
sensor (removable) device as the one desciribed by PA3FPQ in his notes.  The 
devices look the same, although the two levels use different voltag\e 
batteries.
