Hi All,

There is a error in the newsletter about the 300 watt 1296 MHz amp.
This is designed by Goran (AD6IW).

I am only in the process of waiting for Goran to finish his Design and
doc's to purchase a unit from him.

I have no input to the design as it is all Gorans unit which I think is
a fine design at this time.

 with Goran (AD6IW)
goran at ad6iw.com on making available high power 1296 SSPAs to the EME
community.
 The SSPA Goran is developing will be capable of > 300 W and
using 2 Infineon devices per amplifier unit x 4 amplifier units = 300
watts.
 Two COMBINED UNITS (@ 300 watts per unit) could be combined to double
the power. The size
of amp is 10” x 10” x 2.1” and is being tested with a 28 V, 26 A
switching PSU.
It has been tested with a 5 to 1 SWR without problems, but the
transistors die when overdriven.

Hope this corrects the error in the newsletter ass Goran is the designer
