[Moon] 2m helical bandpass filters

I have the Jim Tonne software 'helical' to use as an aid to designing
helical filters. I'd be interested in hearing from anyone who has used this
software to make a real 2m BPF to discuss hints and tricks. I have some 4mm
silver plated copper wire and was hoping to make the enclosures from some
thin copper sheet. I think that a 5th order butterworth response filter
would be good. Is there any rule of thumb when choosing the resonator
impedance?
