Hello Darrell and all!

It must have been such a thing as i cant see on the web that the numbers should be that high.

BTW i also measured on my 2x19 432 mhz array i use for satellite and could only manage to see 2dB sun noise. I feel almost deaf on 70 compared to 144 but have enjoyed hearing 2 EME stations sofar.

You hit a Solar Flare, hi hi

  Regards, Darrell

    Hello!

Just measured sun noise and it is the highest i have seen in a long time. It peaking around 15-16dB in middle of the day

Antenna 19,64dBi RX total 0,7dB NF

I wonder if it have something to do with the low elevation as the sun is only 7-8 degrees high above horizon or if it is this active.
