Peter --

I hardly know why I bother to correct your statements, since
you don't even have the courtesy to reply to my emails. I
cannot begin to understand your motivation, but it is
evident that you are living in a fantasy world of
self-delusion about JT65 and about me, personally.

 From your blog:

1. "... built on the statement that all CW operators cheat.
All the time. This is often brought up as a truth by K1JT ..."

Fact: I have *never* said that all (or even most) CW
operators cheat. I would not say that because I do not
believe it is true.

2. "W9IP is a close friend to K1JT, so this comes as no
surprise."

Fact: I do know even know W9IP. We have never met. We do
not correspond. Wherever do you get these silly ideas?

3. "[CW and JT65] are pretty much equal, give or take a dB
[of] S/N capability."

This is false. I do not say this to denigrate CW; I simply
say it because it is true. The superiority of MFSK with FEC
over On-Off Keying has been proven mathematically, in
laboratory tests, and in real-world tests.

A number of people in the US are working very hard to see
that the ARRL EME Contest rules will be rationalized and
enforced. I am one of them. I hope our efforts will be
successful.

It is useful to have the opinions and suggestions of a wide
range of contest participants. I do not find it helpful
when people rail and harangue about what has happened in the
past, and then suggest that change is impossible.

Complaining is easy. Working to effect change is not always
so -- especially when some others are more interested in
making trouble than in helping.
