Hello Wolfgang and everyone on the lists!
For me who dont have any radioclub or active amateurs in my area this mailing lists have meant very very much of help.
Just wanted to clearify a little on how i personally see on things, so this is just my humble opinion.( i know that i am not right in all my thinking so take it for what it is,,)
I think It should absolutley be the best if all modes and frequencies where located on same list (the original Moon-net) but it have last year showed that it did not work. Emergency moderation and people not allowed to discuss what they feelt was important for them. And besides that the worst thing people throwed out just because they expressed what they feelt was important. It cant be right to do so.
A good thing is that i have not seen anyone going over the acceptable on EME-net this last year so it shows that it can be done without moderation and will continue in this way.
I am 100% sure that we shall continue to run a free list in a true democratic way and we leave it to the subscribers to choose if we shall continue to run as we have on Yahoo this year or if we shall take the kind offer to move to one of the members server.
There are some big plus about it and that is that its faster and we will also have some new members that cant subscribe to a yahoo list out of personal reasons. (Maybe if we move we will loose some?)
There is information how to subscribe on http://web.telia.com/~u37029479/ I will answear any questions both in public and private if anyone is wondering about anything.
It maybe should have been better just if someone just said that we do like this but on this way everyone needs to have a own opinion that counts. Maybe we should not spend our time on things like this but i think it is important to try to hold things together and we have seen result when people do something by interest.
As we can see 144mhz CW activity have come up again after it was almost empty outside contesttimes last year and many people have fun again instead of taking their arrays down.
If we in a couple of weeks should see that most people dont want any change we will continue as earlier but this is a good oppurtunity that should be spent some thinking on. There is no costs or extra work around this so it is totally open and free.
Thats all! sorry for being long! and also excuse me because this was the best i could come up with,,,
( Now out and work on the dish!)
